The City of Philadelphia’s Department of Licensing and Inspections will be adding two new satellite offices that will be opened in the spring of 2018. One location will have 30 inspectors at 3007-09 Gray’s Ferry Avenue. The second office will be located at 1514 Cecil B. Moore Avenue and will operate with 25 inspectors. GBCA has been actively working with L&I to increase investment in the department to improve the backlogs in the permitting and inspection processes. These two satellite offices, along with increased staffing levels, will help L&I continue on an upward trajectory to improve services delivered to the construction industry.
