Mid-Atlantic Steel is an AISC Certified fabricator and erector, meeting the rigorous standards set by the American Institute of Steel Construction. This certification reflects their commitment to quality, safety, and performance across all aspects of steel building structures.
Its fully automated, 30,000-square-foot facility produces over 1,000 tons of steel monthly and is equipped with advanced fabrication equipment including a beam line, angle line, cambering machine, and plate shear. Mid-Atlantic also operates a robust transport fleet with over 30 flatbed trailers and 3 truck tractors.
Field work is executed by Mid-Atlantic Steel’s erection division, East Coast Erectors, Inc., a certified WBE. The team operates cranes ranging from 18 to 115 tons, over 30 man-lifts, and 10 field service trucks. Their in-house detailing department leverages 3D modeling tools, including SDS/2 software, to deliver precise, efficient shop drawings.
