Mid-Atlantic Steel, LLC is a structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator and erector located in New Castle, Delaware. They have been in business since 1985, and have grown to become one of the region’s leading structural steel contractors with a history of successfully completed projects throughout Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. They have provided structural steel for a large variety of building projects including hospitals, educational facilities, office buildings, retail, and warehouse structures.

Mid-Atlantic Steel is an AISC Certified fabricator and erector, meeting the highest standards for the structural steel industry. Being certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) in the Steel Building Structures category means they have the personnel, organization, experience, capability and commitment to meet the requirements set forth by the AISC Certification Program.

Mid-Atlantic Steel operates a fully automated 30,000 square foot facility capable of producing over 1,000 tons of steel per month. Their shop is currently equipped with an automated beam line, angle line, cambering machine, plate shear and press break machines as well as numerous other pieces of equipment. Mid-Atlantic also maintains a transport fleet, which includes (3) truck tractors and more than (20) flat-bed trailers.  Mid-Atlantic Steel’s erection entity, East Coast Erectors, Inc., owns and maintains cranes from 14 tons to 110 tons, as well as a fleet of 20+ man-lifts and 10 field service trucks.  Additionally, their in-house detailing department utilizes 3D technologies such as Design Data SDS/2 software when developing shop drawings. 

Mid-Atlantic Steel can provide turn-key projects through both the fabrication and erection phases, thus offering a general contractor, construction manager or owner a single source of contact for answering questions, effecting changes or resolving conflicts.
