Construction related classes available tuition free to employees of GBCA members and IAP (Industry Advancement Program) contributors. Classes are offered at the areas most respected learning institutions and are tailored towards personnel in both the office and field.

For those interested in becoming an apprentice in one of the Philadelphia area’s building trades apprenticeship programs.
Supervisory Training Program (STP)
GBCA is committed to the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Supervisory Training Program (STP) that prepares carpenter journeymen for supervisory positions in the field.

Green Advantage Training
We recognize that the construction industry is an evolving one and that our members have to remain updated with current trends. One particularly important trend is that of “Green Building”. GBCA partners with The Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) to present Green Advantage training to our members and IAP contributors.

Charter High School For Architecture + Design (CHAD)
GBCA supports young people entering the broad field of design and construction. To this end we are sponsor of the CHAD school in center city Philadelphia.
