On April 10, two members of GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC)—Christina Leader, Director of Risk Management, and Kaitlin Carpenter, Assistant Project Manager, both from PDM Constructors, Inc.—visited Mayfair Elementary School for its Annual Career Day, and spoke with students about their career paths and day-to-day roles in construction.
Christina and Kaitlin also discussed what they enjoy about working in the industry, the importance of skilled trades, and the critical role of PPE and jobsite safety. It was a valuable opportunity to introduce young students to the world of construction and highlight the many rewarding and hands-on career paths available.
