Join CPWR for an expert-led interactive webinar focused on the challenges of protecting workers at unprotected edges. Whether on floors, roofs, or other surfaces, working near unprotected sides and edges poses serious safety risks—especially when overhead anchorage points are difficult to access. Leading edge work adds additional hazards as new sections are installed and conditions continually shift.

To help address these risks, the ANSI/ASSP Z359 Committee is working to clarify critical definitions—such as “leading edge,” “sharp edge,” and “abrasive edge”—and to offer practical guidance on fall protection strategies.

This webinar will break down what personal fall arrest systems can and cannot do, and demonstrate how applying the hierarchy of controls can help identify and manage fall hazards more effectively.
