On April 11, GBCA took part in the Mastery Schools Annual Post-Secondary Fair at the Mastery Charter Pickett Campus in Germantown. Students from six Mastery campuses—including Pickett, Lenfest, Simon Gratz, Hardy Williams, Shoemaker, and Thomas—attended the event to learn about options for life after high school.
GBCA shared information about careers in construction, distributed our workforce development trade cards, and spoke with students about job opportunities and pathways into the skilled trades. The event was a great platform for encouraging students to consider construction as a viable and rewarding career choice.
