The Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) recently introduced a smart loading zone program designed to automate billing for companies parking in 22 designated loading zones across the city. These smart zones capture images of license plates and automatically bill the vehicle owner, streamlining the payment process and ensuring compliance.
To help companies manage this process more efficiently, the PPA is encouraging GBCA members to take advantage of their fleet program. This program provides companies that own multiple vehicles with a convenient way to pay for parking and appeal any potential violations on a monthly basis, simplifying operations and ensuring compliance with the new system.
