Professional Women in Construction (PWC) Philadelphia is hosting the next event in its storytelling series, featuring Noelle Lambert’s incredible journey from amputation to Paralympian. Noelle Lambert, an American record-holding Paralympian and Survivor fan favorite, shares her powerful story of resilience and determination.

A former D1 athlete at UMass Lowell, Noelle had an outstanding freshman lacrosse season, earning America East All-Rookie Team honors. However, her life took a sudden turn the following summer when a moped accident led to the amputation of her left leg above the knee. Despite this life-changing injury, Noelle refused to be defeated. In April 2018—just 18 months after the accident—she returned to the lacrosse field, catching a pass in front of the net and scoring for ULowell. The emotional celebration with her teammates marked the culmination of her extraordinary journey back, symbolizing the grit and dedication that carried her through this remarkable comeback.
