The Mentoring Young Women in Construction (MyWIC) Camp is looking for volunteers for its 2025 summer program, and it’s a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This free camp introduces high school girls in the Philadelphia area to careers in construction, offering hands-on experiences across trades such as carpentry, electrical work, and more.
Volunteers are needed to help guide and support participants as they explore the construction industry. Whether someone gives a day or more, their presence can make a lasting impression—sharing stories, offering encouragement, and helping young women gain confidence through new skills.
The 2025 camp will be held over two weeks in both Northeast and South Philadelphia. It’s a chance to be part of an important mission: encouraging young women to explore rewarding careers in construction and helping to build a more inclusive future for the industry.
