The University of Pennsylvania’s Jane and David Ott Center for Track & Field has achieved LEED Silver Certification, marking a significant milestone in sustainable collegiate athletics construction. P. Agnes, Inc., serving as the construction manager, led the development of this state-of-the-art facility, which now stands as Philadelphia’s premier indoor track venue.

Located at 610 River Fields Drive, the 73,000-square-foot Ott Center features a six-lane banked track, long and high jump pits, a throwing area, and seating for nearly 1,000 spectators. Designed to accommodate year-round training and competition, the facility provides a dedicated space for Penn’s track and field and cross-country teams, while also serving as a valuable resource for the broader Philadelphia athletic community.

Achieving LEED Silver Certification underscores the project’s commitment to environmental sustainability. P. Agnes implemented a range of green building practices throughout the construction process, aligning with both the university’s and the city’s broader sustainability goals. This accomplishment reflects the firm’s dedication to high-performance building and innovation in construction.
