The Metro Philadelphia recently named its 2022 Philadelphia Labor Power Players, and included GBCA’s President & CEO, Benjamin J. Connors in the list. We’re honored to be recognized as one of the city’s leading labor leaders.

Philadelphia is the capital of organized labor, with the first US labor union ever being founded in the city in 1794. After the COVID-19 pandemic, labor is undergoing a revival. The Labor Power Players list honors elected officials, union presidents and business managers, labor lawyers, nonprofit directors, and private industry executives who are supporting and aiding Pennsylvania’s workforce and creating a better work environment for both employers and employees.
