We’re all looking for a way to stand out, to set ourselves apart from the crowd. Whether that’s to embark on a new career, move up in your current career, or round out your skillset so that you perform your job at the highest level, a credential can go a long way. According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), employers will need to fill approximately 2.2 million project oriented roles through 2027*. That’s an opportunity to capitalize on!

Villanova University is planning to offer a private Project Management Professional course for GBCA members at GBCA’s headquarters during the Spring of 2019.

Earning the Project Management Professional® credential proves to employers that you have a strong knowledge base, extensive experience and required education in project management. To help professionals like you prepare for the PMP® Exam, Villanova University’s College of Professional Studies offers a 12 week, instructor led course that explores the five process groups and 10 knowledge areas addressed in the latest edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). Upon completion of the 12 week course and as long as you meet PMI’s additional requirements for testing, you will be prepared to sit for the PMP® Exam. In addition, this course will fulfill your 35 required education hours necessary to sit for the PMP exam.

At the course run at GBCA, participants will learn from expert instructor Mike Palladino, PMP, Head of Agile Center for Excellence, Bristol Myers Squibb. In addition to his role at Bristol Myers Squibb, Mike travels around the world speaking about project management and has decades of experience that make the classroom experience exceptional.

If you are interested in taking this 12 week course during the spring of 2019, please send an email expressing interest to Angela Hendrix at ahendrix@64.207.152.120. Visit Villanova’s PMP Exam Prep webpage for more information.
