Amr Raafat is an architect, a virtual design and construction expert, and the director of Windover Construction’s virtual design and construction team. He’s a fan of using tech tools in construction, particularly drones.
Raafat believes in construction firms using drones in-house in order to control quality and cost, as well as improve efficiency and safety. For his company, drone-use is integrated with BIM processes, which reduces errors in creating 3D models, and also is a useful tool in modular construction projects.
