Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction and development firms, announced the promotion of Todd Lofgren to General Manager and Executive Vice President of its Philadelphia-based regional operations.

As a proven leader in the region, Lofgren will continue to set the office’s strategic direction and oversee the region’s account management team, which leads customer and stakeholder relationships in Delaware, Southern New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Lofgren has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, including 19 years with Skanska, where he previously served as Senior Vice President and Account Manager. Lofgren oversees the office’s projects, including Skanska’s work with Fashion District Philadelphia (Gallery Mall Renovation), Inspira Health, Christiana Care Health System and Swarthmore College. Todd is respected and established throughout professional organizations in the Philadelphia region. He was recently inducted into the Carpenter’s Company—a group of 150 prominent architects, building contractors and structural engineers—that was established 300-years ago and preserves and maintains the historic Carpenters’ Hall, and sits on the Board of Directors for the General Building Contractors Association.

A LEED® accredited professional, Lofgren also holds OSHA 30-Hour certification. Lofgren received his bachelor’s degree in Geo Environmental Engineering from Penn State University.
