GBCA is partnering with the University of Delaware for its Professional Drone Pilot Training program. This two day training, which takes place in Wilmington, DE, includes hands on drone training and preparation for the FAA Pilot’s Exam.
The next training is taking place July 28-29, 2018.

On Thursday, April 26, 2018, members of the GBCA including Independence Steel, Inc., Med-Tex Services and Skanska USA Building, Inc. took advantage of “Bring Your Child to Work Day” and the launch of the upcoming Construction Safety Week (May 7-11). The Skanska project, Inspira Health Network, a new five-story, 466,000 square foot hospital in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, and currently home to about one hundred and fifty construction workers, was visited by a group of children ranging from five years old to thirteen years old.

This 3-page spread shared with readers some of the exciting activities being done by GBCA to support Philadelphia’s construction industry. On Tuesday, April 24, an official ground breaking ceremony was held for the new Pod Philly Hotel. Located at 19th and Ludlow Streets, this will be Philadelphia’s first “micro-hotel.” The Pod Philly Hotel project is being built by INTECH Construction. D'Angelo Bros., Inc. is also working on the site.
