On Thursday, May 9, 2019, the Charter High School for Architecture + Design (CHAD) Hard Hat Club did a job site tour of the new Entercom Fit Out Project, being built by Turner Construction Company’s Philadelphia Office. The project, a fit out of for the radio station and its offices, is located at 2400 Market Street.

During the tour, students learned about issues in construction: pull planning and lean construction principles, specific building challenges associated with building a radio studio—such as working with soundproofing materials, and the importance of a strong safety culture on every job site.

Thanks to the students for attending, to the project team for leading the tour, and to Turner Construction Cost Analyst Rob Kudenchak for organizing the tour.
