McGregor Industries, Inc. fabricates and installs tower stairs, monumental stairs and miscellaneous metals. Although, the company also produces metal columns, balconies, canopies and other structural components, McGregor is best known for stairs and railings. Most recently, McGregor has begun to set itself apart in the fabrication and installation of high rise tower stairs in urban areas throughout the country.
McGregor Industries embraces new processes and evolving technologies in order to better serve their customers. By using TEKLA, a BIM program to model all projects, McGregor can coordinate and collaborate with other project stakeholders to save time and money. Their decades of experience means they can fabricate and install miscellaneous metal to the tightest of tolerances. McGregor is AISC certified n shop, paint and field.
Founded in 1919 as the McGregor Architectural Iron Company in the midst of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s coal and steel industry, McGregor became known as the company that could do “anything” with steel. The business has remained in the McGregor family for four generations and has its headquarters in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.
It is currently owned and operated by Robert R. McGregor. His daughter, Grace McGregor Kramer, is a Project Executive and represents the fourth generation in the business. After nearly 100 years in business, McGregor Industries continues to uphold its reputation as the “can do anything” company for architects, construction managers and general contractors who look to McGregor for outstanding service and value regardless of the challenge complexity.
