Anthony Biddle Contractors, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, on-site Estimator/Project Manager or Assistant Estimator/Project Manager position in the local Philadelphia area.

About the Roles
This role, based in Ambler, PA, involves managing cost estimation, budgeting, and project management for site, concrete, demolition, and excavation projects in the Philadelphia area. Candidates will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients from the bidding process through project completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or assist in cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project conditions.
- Analyze project plans, bid instructions, and detailed specifications.
- Perform material and quantity take-offs.
- Determine job requirements, equipment, and labor needs.
- Prepare bid proposals with qualifications.
- Collaborate with field workers, project managers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and maintain project costs throughout construction.
- Track and address cost or scope changes.
- Maintain estimating databases with historical cost records.
- Improve and advance internal estimating/project management software and processes.
Qualifications
Estimator/Project Manager: Minimum 5–10 years of experience in site, concrete, demolition, or excavation construction.
Assistant Estimator/Project Manager: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in site, concrete, demolition, or excavation construction.
Additional qualifications:
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and Philadelphia industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar software.
- Experience with Bid 2 Win (B2W) software is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 – $140,000 per year (based on experience)
