Mayfair Middle School CTE teacher Evin Jarrett is seeking donations and industry support for the school’s upcoming Construction Summer Camp, beginning Monday, July 6, in Northeast Philadelphia.
The camp provides students with hands-on exposure to construction and the skilled trades, helping introduce them to career opportunities in the industry.
The program is currently seeking donations of the following items:
- Scaffolding and planks
- Bottled waters
- PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
- T-shirts and hats
- Lumber
- Copper pipe
- Construction industry guest speakers
Companies interested in donating materials, supplies, or volunteering their time are encouraged to get involved. Please contact Greg Laska at to help coordinate support for the program.
