Esperanza Academy Charter School, in partnership with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, is developing new skilled trades programs designed to prepare Philadelphia students for careers in the construction industry and related fields.
The programs will provide hands-on training in Commercial & Industrial HVAC, Plumbing, Metals Fabrication & Welding Technology, and Facility Maintenance Technology, helping students build practical skills and industry knowledge that can lead to rewarding career opportunities.
TN Ward Company is also supporting the renovation of the building that will house the future trade school programs.
To help equip the training labs and classrooms, the school is seeking donations of materials and supplies that students can use as part of their hands-on learning experience.
Needed Items Include:
- Pipes for HVAC and plumbing training
- Valves and fittings
- Personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety gear
If your company is interested in donating materials or supplies or would like more information about any of the six-month programs, please contact Alfonso Zamora at for additional details regarding donations, drop-off arrangements, and program information.
