GBCA has been recognized by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) with two national honors: 2026 AGC Large Chapter of the Year and 2026 AGC Public Relations Campaign of the Year for the Choose GBCA campaign.
Both awards reflect the strength of our membership and what we are able to accomplish together.
2026 AGC Large Chapter of the Year
The Large Chapter of the Year Award recognizes excellence across an AGC chapter’s work and its service to members and the construction industry. For GBCA, this recognition reflects the involvement of our members and their commitment to strengthening Greater Philadelphia’s union construction industry. Members lead committees, share their expertise, advocate for the industry, support workforce development, prioritize safety, and help shape the programs and resources GBCA provides.
That involvement has helped GBCA strengthen member support, expand workforce and education initiatives, advance industry advocacy, and create new opportunities for contractors and the next generation of construction professionals.
Being named Large Chapter of the Year is a recognition of the companies and people who continue to show up, get involved, and make GBCA stronger.
2026 AGC Public Relations Campaign of the Year
GBCA also received the Public Relations Campaign of the Year Award for Choose GBCA, a research-driven campaign created to highlight the value and performance of GBCA member contractors.
The campaign was built around GBCA’s OSHA 300 Study, which analyzed more than 2 million OSHA records over eight years. The findings provided data to demonstrate the safety performance of GBCA members and strengthen the message of why choosing a GBCA contractor matters.
Through media coverage, digital platforms, jobsite signage, events, and outreach to owners, developers, and elected officials, the Choose GBCA campaign brought that message to audiences across Greater Philadelphia.
Together, these two national honors recognize what GBCA members make possible. Thank you to our members for your involvement, leadership, and continued commitment to making GBCA and Greater Philadelphia’s union construction industry stronger.
