The 2026 Block Kids Building Competition & Trades Fair is seeking judges and volunteers for its upcoming event on Saturday, November 7, at Sheet Metal Hall in Philadelphia.
The event introduces students in grades 1–6 to the construction industry through a hands-on building competition and opportunities to explore careers in the trades.
Construction industry professionals are encouraged to get involved in two ways:
- Judges: Executives, owners, managers, and industry leaders are needed to evaluate the creativity and work of participating students.
- Volunteers: Employees from across the construction trades can assist with event setup, registration, supporting families, and other activities throughout the day.
The event provides an opportunity for construction professionals to engage with young students, share their industry experience, and help introduce the next generation to careers in construction.
