The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and AGC Charities, Inc. have partnered with Warrior Canine Connection (WCC) to further assist veterans in their transitions back into civilian life.
Founded in 2011, WCC works to ease the transition back into civilian life by helping to heal invisible wounds, such as post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury, so veterans can function more successfully in their families, communities and jobs. Through the WCC therapeutic service dog training program, veterans can play an active role in their own healing. They train service dogs for fellow veterans with physical disabilities, teaching both the dogs and themselves to trust, love, find safety in others and re-discover their purpose.
In addition to financial support, AGC partner, BirdDogHR, is donating its Integrated Workforce Management System to WCC, which will allow them to automate their workforce management processes.
