On Thursday, March 15, 2018, members of Med-Tex Services participated in a heartwarming event celebrating Children’s Day at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The event was hosted by the Nemours IPD Infrastructure team, which is managed by HSC Builders & Construction Managers. That day, superheroes surprised and delighted children by scaling the building (in full safety gear, of course!).

The following week, on Thursday, March 22, 2018, Dennis M. Dougherty and Lisa Bierer of Med-Tex Services, Inc. and GBCA Director of Safety Services Frank Durso did a short presentation for the Nemours IPD Infrastructure team. They gave a toolbox talk about understanding safety standards and hand protection selection.

The Nemours Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Master Plan Infrastructure project at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware is a collaborative alliance between HSC Builders & Construction Managers, Hatzel & Buehler, ID Griffith, BR+A Engineers, Ewing Cole, and Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. This alliance – the “Nemours IPD Infrastructure Team” – is managed by HSC Builders & Construction Managers, Nemours’s preferred construction manager to partner with the designers and key trade contractors in this endeavor. HSC Builders & Construction Managers began its relationship and partnership with Nemours in 2010.
