The NAWIC Philadelphia Chapter 145 is hosting MyWIC Construction Camp June 22-29, 2018. The camp will take place at 1501 Cherry Street, Philadelphia. GBCA is proud to sponsor this event, and encourages more young women to join the construction industry.

MyWIC Construction Camp (formerly MAGIC Camp) is a free, six-day camp available to girls in 7th through 12th grade. It’s designed to give young women real hands-on experience to gain better knowledge of the industry. MyWIC also partners with several of the local trade unions in the Philadelphia area. Participants experience the exhilaration of successfully performing tasks that promote leadership and team-building skills, as well as build self-confidence, self-esteem, and boost their overall self-image. NAWIC provides all of the tools, boots, safety equipment, transportation, snacks and lunch for each young woman.

If you are a young woman student in grades 7-12, or if you know of a young woman in grades 7-12 who might be interested in applying for a spot in the MyWIC camp, click below!
