Shoemaker Construction Co. recently celebrated the grand opening of Philadelphia Housing Authority’s North Central Phase II. The affordable housing development consists of 89 newly constructed rental units and will seek certification from LEED, Energy Star Homes and Enterprise Green Communities.
Several Philadelphia Region leaders were present at the ribbon cutting ceremony:
- PA Senator Sharif Street
- PA State Rep Donna Bullock
- City Council President Darrell Clarke
- Congressman Dwight Evans
- City Council Member Jannie Blackwell
The project is a joint venture of Shoemaker Construction Co. and Synterra Ltd.
CICADA Architecture/Planning Inc. is the architect for the project.
