This summer, the Mentoring Young Women in Construction (MyWIC) Camp has partnered with Girls, Inc. to produce a summer camp focused on construction activities for young women aged 12-17. The young women will learn about construction, touring active jobsites, apprenticeship training centers, and more!
On Tuesday, July 13, the camp visited Med-Tex Services, where they learned about construction safety, including fire safety and fall protection and rescue methods.
KYW Radio and CBS Philly were also there to check out the camp! The CBS Philly segment will air sometime during the week of July 19.
