The Carpenters’ Company of City and County of Philadelphia is launching its first comprehensive preservation project for Carpenters’ Hall in over 40 years: the Campaign 300. This campaign aims to preserve the building by 2024, in time to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the First Continental Congress and the 300th anniversary of the founding of The Carpenters’ Company.
GBCA was founded in 1891 as an off-shoot organization from the Carpenters’ Company. In honor of this connection, GBCA is encouraging its members to support the Campaign 300, and the Carpenters’ Company is holding a special information session for GBCA members on November 17.
