The City of Philadelphia’s Department of Labor is hosting a free labor compliance training session on October 29, 2026, for contractors and subcontractors working on construction projects in Philadelphia.

The training will cover key labor compliance requirements for City construction projects, including prevailing wage regulations, payroll reporting, and federal labor standards. Attendees will receive training on LCPtracker, the electronic system used to submit certified payroll information for City contracts. The session will also provide an introduction to the Davis-Bacon Act, which establishes prevailing wage requirements for certain federally funded or assisted construction projects.

The program will include a live question-and-answer session with agency and industry experts, giving contractors an opportunity to ask questions about compliance responsibilities and reporting procedures.

This free training is particularly relevant for contractors and subcontractors performing public construction work in Philadelphia or preparing to pursue City contracts.
