As temperatures rise, working conditions become more challenging for those in construction. According to OSHA, employers are responsible for providing workplaces free of known safety and health hazards, including heat-related hazards. The best way to prevent exposure is to develop and enforce a Heat Illness Prevention (HIP) Program.

CPWR has created two checklists to aid in the development and daily enforcement of an effective HIP program tailored to each unique job site. In this webinar, CPWR will review these checklists and provide key background information on HIP planning. The session will culminate in a focused Q&A discussion with our panel of experts, including researchers and representatives from both labor and management.
