Dr. Kathleen Short, Assistant Teaching Professor in Drexel University’s Construction Management Program in the Department of Engineering Leadership and Society received the Region 1 Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Excellence in Teaching Award at the International Conference held in Atlanta, April 20-23, 2022.
This award honors a faculty member’s contribution to construction education, excellence in teaching, service to the ASC and dedication to the construction profession. Dr. Short was recognized for the work that she has done to improve the rigor and content of courses in the Construction Management Program has leading to improved student satisfaction, as well as her efforts to support student organizations and engagement with the construction industry.
Dr. Short has worked closely with GBCA, helping connect students with member companies and serving as a judge for the Construction Excellence Awards.
