On Tuesday, April 5, Drexel University’s Construction Management Program celebrated 2022 Dragon Exemplar Award Honoree Bob MacIntosh, President of DCI+MacIntosh Engineers. This award honors a member of the greater Philadelphia construction community. It is a celebration of construction excellence, innovation and education, with a focus on inspiring the next generation of construction leaders. MacIntosh earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering from Drexel University in 1980 and 1985, respectively.
This year, the program also named a Young Dragon Exemplar Award honoree, Joseph Lapinson. This award, sponsored by the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA), honors a student who has demonstrated excellence in their scholastic and practical experience achievements in the Construction Management program. Lapinson is a graduating senior in Construction Management, and recently completed a co-op term with GBCA member Mount Construction Company, Inc.
The evening was attended by Drexel University Construction Management faculty, staff, and students, as well as leaders in the Philadelphia region’s commercial construction industry.
