E.C. Fence & Iron Works, Inc. renovated and constructed fence and netting around Miekeljohn Stadium, the baseball field at the University of Pennsylvania. The first part of this project included furnishing and installing the fencing and ball-stopper netting in a newly developed Pitcher Development Area next to the stadiums and furnishing and installing new guardrail systems and handrails for the home and visitor dugouts. After being on site, the university asked E.C. Fence & Iron Works to make several field improvements, including new framed out entry gates onto the field, a visitor bullpen fence, and several fence repairs along the perimeter of the baseball field.
The general contractor for the project is Clemens Construction Company, Inc. Other GBCA member collaborators on the project include D’Andrea Bros. Concrete Co., Inc.
