The Eastern Pennsylvania & Delaware Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (EPDACI) will host a dinner meeting focusing on “Concrete Constructability – Why it Matters with Sustainability and Durability.”

The presentation will explore the important role designers play in concrete construction productivity and how decisions made during the design phase can impact project outcomes in the field. Attendees will learn how early collaboration with trade contractors and construction-informed design decisions can help streamline work, reduce RFIs and field changes, improve planning, and deliver more predictable results for project owners.

The featured speaker will be Phil Diekemper, Executive Director of PRO: An ACI Center of Excellence for Advancing Productivity**. Diekemper brings more than 40 years of industry experience, including his career with Ceco, where he retired as Senior Vice President in 2022. He now leads PRO with a focus on advancing productivity throughout the concrete construction industry.

Attendees will receive two Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for participating in the dinner program. Registration is required, and the individual registration fee is $50.
