On April 7, GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC) hosted a Coffee Chat with Matt Pentz, Executive Vice President of Rycon Construction.
Matt shared insights from his 20 years in the construction industry and discussed Rycon’s growth in the Philadelphia region. Under his leadership, the office has expanded to more than 85 team members and completed over 160 projects across seven states, spanning healthcare, higher education, retail, office, and government markets.
He also offered leadership advice, emphasizing the importance of strong communication, asking questions, bringing solutions, and learning through failure. Matt rounded out the discussion with a few recommended reads for continued professional growth.
The Coffee Chat concluded with a Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly and gain additional insight into leadership and industry best practices.
