On November 5, GBCA participated in the Williamson College of the Trades Career Fair held on the school’s campus in Media, PA. Joined by more than 180 companies, GBCA representatives spoke with students about the benefits of working in union construction and the many career paths available across the skilled trades.
Several GBCA members were also in attendance, including LF Driscoll, McDonald Building Company, Hunter Roberts Construction Group, and Bell Supply, among others—offering students insight into the wide range of opportunities within the region’s construction industry.
Williamson College of the Trades is a three-year institution dedicated to hands-on technical education, preparing students for careers in fields such as carpentry, masonry, and machinery through a combination of classroom instruction and applied learning.
