The South Jersey Mechanical Contractors Association (SJMCA) is a comprehensive service provider advocating for contractors within Southern New Jersey’s Union Plumbing, Pipefitting, and Mechanical Contracting Industry.
Beyond advocacy, SJMCA serves as an educator, industry spokesperson, safety advisor, collaborative partner with other construction trades, information hub, and enthusiastic promoter of business and industrial growth in South Jersey. SJMCA works closely with UA Local 322 to champion and market union construction in the region.
SJMCA’s membership includes a diverse range of large and small mechanical and plumbing contractors, each holding an equal voice in the Association’s affairs and activities. Guided by an engaged Board of Directors and General Membership, the Association places a strong emphasis on active participation to stimulate the exchange of ideas, safety insights, technical knowledge, and business information, thereby fostering a thriving and collaborative industry.
To emphasize the advantages of a highly trained workforce utilized by its contractors, SJMCA offers scholarships to exceptional Mechanical Engineering students at local universities, and additionally, provide grants to outstanding graduates from local high schools.
