Torrado Distributors Inc. (TDI) is an MBE-certified building materials supplier. Founder Luis Torrado, a Philadelphia native, grew-up in the tight-knit Spring Garden neighborhood of Philadelphia with his parents who made their way to the city from Puerto Rico in the 1950s. He was raised on an unwavering work ethic and the American Dream. This pushed Luis to pursue contracting and through Torrado Construction Co., Inc., to build-up the city and community. With this strong foundation, Luis is proud to expand and offer material supplies though TDI.
TDI provides building materials, paint supplies, bar reinforcing, masonry supplies, and equipment sourcing. TDI has supplied both public and private commercial construction projects, such as for SEPTA, PennDOT, Philadelphia Gas Works, the W Hotel, PHL Airport, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
