GBCA Members Participate in OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction
May 6-10 was Construction Safety Week and OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. Several GBCA members participated in celebrating and encouraging safety by holding safety stand down’s dedicated to promoting job site safety, learning the proper ways to use equipment, and giving their employees an opportunity to take a break during the workday to learn about fall hazards and tools to prevent fall injuries and fatalities.
GBCA’s Safety Consultant, Jim McGugan, gave demonstrations on using fall protection equipment to protect the safety of workers.
