Thank you to the GBCA members that participated in the Fall Protection Equipment Inspection campaign, held by the Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council, OSHA, and GBCA. This campaign had contractors inspect fall protection equipment on jobsites and remove any that were in poor condition or past their date of effectiveness.
13 GBCA members participated in this campaign, removing 158 pieces of equipment from job sites, potentially saving 158 lives. Thanks to the following members for participating in the campaign:

General contractors are responsible for conducting on-site inspections of fall protection equipment and removals. OSHA and the Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council have created a Smartsheet to help record and report on keeping jobsite equipment up to date.
