Three GBCA member firms — Turner Construction Company, Perryman Construction, and Hunter Roberts Construction Group — will play major roles in the construction of the new state-of-the-art South Philadelphia arena for the Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers.
The teams announced that a joint venture led by Turner Construction and AECOM Hunt, operating under the name PACT+, has been selected as construction manager for the highly anticipated project. The joint venture will also include Perryman Construction, Hunter Roberts Construction Group, and Camfred Construction, combining national expertise with strong Philadelphia-based leadership and workforce participation.
The new arena will be located within the South Philadelphia Sports Complex and is scheduled to open in 2030, coinciding with the debut of Philadelphia’s new WNBA team.
“This is more than a construction project—it’s a chance to build something that becomes part of Philadelphia’s fabric for generations,” said Dave Kaminski, Vice President and Senior General Manager for Turner Construction. “As someone who calls this city home, I couldn’t be prouder that Turner is helping shape a landmark that will bring people together.”
