On the first day of her historic term in office, Mayor Cherelle Parker announced her 100-Day Action Plan. This detailed agenda has already begun to move Philadelphia forward as a leader among major cities in growth and economic opportunity for all.

Mayor Parker is investing heavily in workforce development through introducing students to apprenticeships, union work, and the trades. Bold commitments to modernizing schools in Philadelphia, creating thirty-thousand new units of “affordable luxury” housing, and creating economic growth in diverse businesses through targeted investments are just a few of the many pledges that Mayor Parker’s plan has already started to deliver upon.

GBCA strongly supports the implementation of Mayor Parker’s 100-Day Action Plan. Her strategy for Philadelphia’s growth has produced new resources for labor, the construction industry, and our membership.

GBCA looks forward to working with Mayor Parker and her team on the continued execution of her 100-Day Action Plan.
