Please join us in welcoming Joe Healy, CSHM, GBCA’s new Safety Consultant!
Joe is a Training Instructor for Med-Tex Services, and will be providing GBCA members with safety resources and services including the following:
- Conduct onsite or telephone safety consultations and job site safety audits with GBCA members
- Provide Safety program development, review, and support for GBCA members
- Provide OSHA and Department of Licensing & Inspections policies and regulations interpretation, citation review, and communications assistance
Before entering the field of construction safety full-time, Joe spent over 30 years in the trades as a Local #1 Bricklayer, Estimator, Project Manager, and Safety Director. He is a dual certified OSHA instructor for Construction and General industry. He has experience working with clients on Safety Committee Operations, conducting Job Site Audits, and reviewing clients Safety Programs.
Joe holds the CSHM certification from ISHM as a Certified Health and Safety Manager, and the Occupational Safety Professional Certification from OSHAcademy. He is also a Gulf War Veteran and a graduate of Temple University.
