GBCA is proud to announce our 2023 Heat Safety Campaign, primarily our Toolbox Talks, has won OSHA’s Beat the Heat National Contest for Strongest Message! This campaign shared our heat safety resources to the construction industry as well as to the general public through campaigns on aired on 97.5 The Fanatic and 6abc WPVI-TV Philadelphia.
Beat the Heat National Contest Strongest Message:
General Building Contractors Association: Submitted a toolbox talk toolkit intended to be used during safety huddles. The talks cover many topics, such as, Water, Rest, Shade strategies, describing heat illness symptoms, and explaining the OSHA-NIOSH Heat Safety Tool App.
