E.P. Guidi, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our commercial construction projects by preparing Budgets and Estimates for our clients. In addition, you will provide valuable insights to the client and team to ensure successful project completion. A strong background in construction estimating and proficiency in any standard estimating software is a requirement.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare accurate Budgets and detailed cost estimates for assigned construction projects
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine full extent of the project’s requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating
• Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project scope and potential risks
• Utilize industry software, and other tools to perform accurate quantity takeoffs
• Research and analyze company historical data, market trends, and material costs to ensure accurate pricing
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and scheduling information
• Develop comprehensive bid proposals that meet client requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with our Project Management team to review bids, contracts, and change order requests
• Review project cost data throughout the construction process and provide any needed cost control recommendations

The Minimum Background Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related technical field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, practices, and techniques
• Proficiency in industry software or similar state of the art tools
• Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform and track complex calculations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with project management concepts and practices
