According to the CDC, the construction industry has the highest rate of suicide among occupational groups in the United States. The Greater Philadelphia Construction Hike for Hope, in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), is working to change that.
This initiative supports suicide prevention education, intervention, and postvention strategies to equip and empower mental health champions across the construction workforce. The event provides an opportunity to come together as an industry, honor those impacted by mental health challenges, and demonstrate our commitment to supporting one another.
