On June 25, 2021, the Laborers’ District Council celebrated the grand opening of the Workers’ District Council Training and Learning Center. GBCA President & CEO Ben Connors, Esq. was one of the Management Trustees of the project.
TN Ward Company was the General Contractor for the 60,000 square foot project.
TN Ward built the original Laborers’ Training Facility in Exton (37 years ago) and we are proud to have partnered with the Laborers’ District Council (LDC) again in constructing the new Samuel Staten, Jr. Building in support of LDCs mission of educating construction laborers into the 21st century.

The main building is named for Samuel Staten, Jr., and features rooms named for construction and union leaders Ryan N. Boyer, James N. Harper, Jr., Joseph M. Martosella, Sr., and Esteban Vera, Jr.
Since the grand opening, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has also visited the new facility.
