The Cement Masons and Plasterers Union, Local No. 592, has announced the retirement of two of its most esteemed leaders and the appointment of a new generation of union leadership.

Mark Wildsmith, who has served as President and Business Manager since 2020, will retire on July 1, 2025, after a remarkable 36-year membership with Local 592. Prior to his current role, Mark served as Vice President for six years, helping guide the union through years of growth, advocacy, and excellence in the trades.

Michael L. Sabatini also recently retired, concluding a 41-year career with Local 592. Since 2013, he has served as Financial Secretary-Treasurer, where he played a key role in stewarding the union’s finances and supporting long-term organizational stability.

Succeeding these respected leaders are three long-standing members of Local 592:

  • Dennis Fife, a 28-year member and current Vice President, will become the new President and Business Manager.
  • Robert Petracci, also a 28-year member, will take on the role of Financial Secretary-Treasurer.
  • Neal Kline, a 34-year member, will step into the role of Vice President.

These leadership changes mark a significant moment for Local 592, as the union builds upon its proud legacy with a strong foundation of experienced and committed professionals.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Mark Wildsmith and Michael Sabatini for their decades of dedicated service and leadership. Congratulations to Dennis, Rob, and Neal as they take on their new roles in continuing to advance the mission and values of Local 592.
