MacIntosh Engineering, a 27-person structural engineering firm with offices in Wilmington, DE and Wayne, PA, announces its merger with DCI Engineers, a 325-person structural and civil engineering firm with offices in Texas, California, Colorado, Oregon, Montana, Washington and Alaska. MacIntosh Engineering was founded by Robert (Bob) MacIntosh in 1999.

The merger creates a national presence for both companies, providing better project and client support across the United States.

At MacIntosh Engineering, we have always enjoyed a family atmosphere. As leaders, we evaluate each decision and opportunity through the lens of how it will affect our team. The challenge of transitioning the firm was no different. Through the efforts of our staff, we have been able to overcome adversity and accomplish even more, so it was vital to keep this group intact and find the right partner, one whose values echoed our focus on service and staff. This partnership will allow us to maintain our existing strengths while creating a future filled with opportunities for unlimited technical, geographical and career growth.
